Best pizza in the area, hands down! I’ve been here a good number of times now and the quality never dips. The owners are the loveliest people, and it shows in the service and the food. If you’re looking for a great meal with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. 10/10!

First time in Canberra and our taxi driver recommended this cafe. It didn’t disappoint! Fantastic music, great decor and so many delicious dessert options, we didn’t want to leave!!! We were also super impressed with the huge assortment of Gluten FREE treats, as some of us were GF!

Via Dolce is amazing! Everything was delicious, but the tiramisu was the standout, the best I’ve ever had. It genuinely reminded me of the tiramisu I had in Italy. Perfectly creamy with rich espresso flavor. Great service and cozy vibe.

After many years of eating here I felt it time to recommend Via dolce in civic I always have the pepperoni pizza and or the ravioli together with a mango smoothie The pizza bases are to die for and there’s something special about the pepperoni, I almost eat an entire pizza it’s that good, it’s not heavy just light and so tasty, the pasta you find there is done to perfection and the sauces are sublime, the smoothies have a rich nectar and awesome mango ice cream inside. A family concern with the owner who works hard to serve as do the staff delivering ultra good food cakes and drinks of every description all in a perfect location. The owner Joe is a very humble and beautiful person who always remembers you which is rare these days, 5 out of 5 for everything you eat and a truly amazing experience I would highly recommend.

We came here to buy a cake for my friends birthday and ended up eating here. We had different pastas and apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. Lovely place! Great atmosphere and amazing customer service from the Joe the manager 😁 The food tasted very homely, good portions and prices were good value.

We had such a wonderful time. We are from Sydney and I have to say , this is the best Italian food we have had. My desire is to visit Italy one day and I actually mentioned to the manager/ owner that I imagine this is what it would be like to go to Italy. I almost feel like don’t need to go lol. The food is amazing from my ravioli to my husbands pasta dish and my sons pizza dish. Then there is dessert. I had to bring back some to Sydney and my dad said it’s the best tiramisu he has ever had. Highly recommend going here in you’re in Canberra. Also customer service was great as well from all the staff ;) shout out to the amazing chefs .

A must visit if you like Italian food. We walked in and had food in front of us within 15 minutes despite how busy they were at the time. The woodfired pizza was fantastic, we had the prosciutto, and the ravioli was great. We also indulged and had some of the fantastic pastries and cakes for dessert. The atmosphere is wonderful and the presentation of the food and the care of the wait staff in serving our meals was great. We will visit again on our next trip!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Italian food! The pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy crust and flavorful toppings, and the pasta was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite. Cozy ambience and friendly service make the experience even better. Definitely a must-visit for pizza and pasta lovers! Also, they do not take reservations, so try your luck.

Absolutely loved Via Dolce in Canberra! The desserts were amazing and the variety is incredible — there’s truly something for everyone, no matter what you’re craving. From classic favourites to indulgent treats, it’s a dessert lover’s paradise. They also offer great savoury options like pizzas and pasta, which makes it perfect even if not everyone is there just for sweets. My personal favourites were the mango pistachio cake, the sticky date pudding, and the tiramisu — each one was rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. What really makes the place special is the owner — such a sweetheart and always greeting everyone with a warm smile. The friendly service and welcoming vibe make the experience even better. Highly recommend visiting Via Dolce! 🍰✨
